Description
Relive 1776 offers a five-part AR experience that follows the entire Freedom Trail. Participants try on colonial fashion, operate a historically accurate field cannon, and meet notable figures such as Paul Revere, John Hancock, and Samuel Adams near The Great Elm Tree in Boston Common.
You engage in a series of interactive events, helping colonial leaders resist British rule. The tour concludes at Bunker Hill with a final AR experience. You can move through the tour at your own pace and skip stops if needed, with each experience lasting between 5 and 15 minutes and including a guide.
Three parts of the tour use mobile phone AR, while two use AR headsets provided by the tour operator. Since this is augmented reality (not virtual reality), you remain aware of your surroundings without nausea or safety concerns.
All AR headsets are sanitized before each use to eliminate 99.99% of bacteria and viruses, and fresh facial coverings are provided for hygiene.
