Description
Begin the tour at the official Visitor Center located on Boston Common, America’s first public park. Meet your historical interpreter dressed in colonial costume and start a 1.3-mile walk through Boston’s colonial history.
The route passes notable sites including Granary Burial Ground, the site of the Boston Massacre, Park Street Church, America’s first public school, Boston Tea Party site, Old State House, Old South Meeting House, and Faneuil Hall. The tour then continues into the North End, where the story of Boston’s revolution further unfolds.
