The Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park is the largest recreation area in metro Boston, featuring activities such as beach yoga, hiking, summer jazz concerts, and Civil War-era forts.

Choose to visit either Georges Island or Spectacle Island. Note departure times for each island before booking, as this is a direct ferry service with no interisland connections.

Island Details and Departure Times

  • Georges Island: Departures at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 2:00 PM. Explore Fort Warren, participate in ranger-guided tours, visit the visitor center, or enjoy a picnic. Don’t miss the legend of the Lady in Black.
  • Spectacle Island: Departures at 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 2:30 PM. Enjoy panoramic views of Boston Harbor, relax on the beach, and hike the island trails.

Return ferries depart one hour after the original Long Wharf departure using your initial ticket.
