Description

Boston's principal role in launching the American Revolution is linked by the brick-lined Freedom Trail. This world-famous pedestrian path is best experienced on foot with an expert historian. Awarded “Best of Boston” by The Boston Globe, Hub Town Tours partners with small businesses to provide unparalleled Freedom Trail experiences! Tour & Taste combines Boston history and flavors, traveling past iconic landmarks with a local historian before an all-inclusive beer tasting and delicious lunch at a favorite Boston brewery. Travel through the heart of Downtown Boston, visiting 11 of 16 official landmarks on the Freedom Trail. Along the way, your expert guide delves deeply into the years 1768 to 1775, the tumultuous years leading into the American Revolution. Walk in the footsteps of Colonial Bostonians, all of whom grappled with the difficult—yet essential—question of loyalty or rebellion to crown and country. Our Tour & Taste experience concludes in the private dining room of Democracy Brewing, where guests enjoy local craft beers and all-inclusive lunch featuring New England favorites such as lobster rolls, clam chowder, and Boston's famous baked beans.
